Random Thoughts 15/11/2014

It is the height of arrogance to assume that if you cannot find an explanation for something, it must be superfluous.

Sarcasm is to stupidity, as hives are to poison ivy.

Even if I live for an entire century, I'll still only be one century into eternity. Essentially, we're all perpetual spring chickens.

Hyper-Calvinism (the twisting of T.U.L.I.P. to say that we can just sit in our buildings, and anyone who is meant to hear the gospel will walk in and hear it) all falls to pieces when confronted by the Great Commission ("Go...").

When we see logic as a part of the nature of God, is it not spurning Him if we allow fallacies to go unchecked?

Using miracles as a source of doubt is entirely illogical - if God was able to simply speak the universe into existence, would it really be much of a stretch to make a donkey talk?
